Lincat appoints new Marketing Manager

Lincat, the UK’s leading manufacturer of commercial catering equipment, has appointed Helen Applewhite as its new Marketing Manager.

Helen will be responsible for the marketing of the Lincat business, as well the FriFri and Q90 brands, following the company’s successful acquisition in 2011 by the Middleby Corporation.

Helen commented:

“With Lincat’s wide product portfolio of over 450 lines, there is a lot to learn, but I love a challenge and it will be my priority to keep Lincat, FriFri and Q90 front of mind for anyone considering purchasing catering equipment, both here in the UK, as well as in overseas markets. Lincat has a fantastic reputation, both in the industry it serves and as a local employer, so I am delighted to be a part of this vibrant and buoyant business and look forward to being a major player in delivering Lincat’s ambitious growth plans.”

Helen joins the company having spent the past eight years in marketing management roles across the public, consumer and private sectors. She has been involved with many high-profile projects, including NHS campaigns and collaborations with multi-national brands such as HP, Xerox and Samsung.

Regarding Helen’s appointment, Managing Director Nick McDonald, said:

“It’s a great opportunity for Helen to bring her marketing expertise to bear on continuing to increase brand awareness, supporting our dealer network, developing customer relationships and playing a vital role in new product development and launches.”

When not at work, Helen, who lives in Lincoln, enjoys anything that involves food and drink and spending time with her family.
